At Bouillon d’Amsterdam, you are the face of the city's table. You are the one who welcomes guests, fills glasses, brings plates, and ensures everything at the table is in order with a smile. You smoothly adapt to the hustle of the day: from the first coffee and croissant to a full house in the evening with wine, classic dishes, and lots of conviviality.

You work at a fast pace but never lose focus. You chat with regular guests, help a lost tourist find their way, and confidently advise on dishes and wines. For you, service is not just about serving, but above all: ensuring people have a great evening.

What will you be doing?

• Welcoming, guiding, and ensuring guests feel at home

• Taking orders and explaining the menu offerings

• Serving dishes and drinks with flair and attention

• Engaging in discussions about wine, dishes, and upselling at the table

• Collaborating with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service

• Handling payments, setting and clearing tables, and ensuring the restaurant always looks sharp

• Actively contributing to the atmosphere: liveliness, conviviality, and a touch of boldness

Who are you?

• You have experience in hospitality or you are eager to learn and pick things up quickly

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment: a full house energizes you

• You are social, spontaneous, and not afraid to strike up a conversation

• You can sense what a guest needs: quick & efficient or leisurely & attentive

• You speak at least Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus)

• You are okay with working evenings and weekends – that's when the city comes alive

• You are a team player: you help colleagues without being asked
